I’m doing a science project on the index of refraction and I’m going to find the index of refraction of different liquids and solids. My teacher said I could use a laser pointer and a protractor to find it but I’m not sure if that’s what I should do.

my friend got a laser pointer that can change into an arrow and other symbols instead of a dot where can i find one? yeah but he could spin the tip and change them instead of having to change the tips…. can anyone help me find that one?
Also, is it a bit risky undertaking laser liposuction when its quite a new procedure?
So far my best idea is a 3 way G clamp but Im worried that the laser pointer may slip, should i try using some sort of tape? Or has anyone else got any other sugestions?

I had the trays once but they didnt make the entire tooth white, as if the product didnt cover the entire tooth, it wasnt uniform. will the laser (i think its laser), the one time whitening be better at making the teeth all white?
Can you take double exposures with it and how? Can you have the shutter open for longer so if i were to point a laserpointer at the wall and move it, it would make a line in the photo? thanks! moko
